Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.
Fruit can only be exported from areas recognised as free from Queensland fruit fly (Bactrocera tryoni)
Original and certified translation of the import permit must be presented to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
The exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the treatment and present it to the department at time of authorisation.
Phytosanitary certificates must be issued within 7 days prior to the export of the consignment

1) Oriental fruit fly (Bactrocera dorsalis) is not known to occur in Australia,
2) Jarvis fruit fly (Bactrocera jarvisi), Lesser Queensland fruit fly (Bactrocera neohumeralis) and Queensland fruit fly (Bactrocera tryoni) are known not to occur in the area of production.
