General Requirements

​Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.

​Original and certified translation of the import permit must be presented to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

Exporters are encouraged to obtain import permit. However, the Department of Agriculture and Water Resources Authorised Officer may undertake inspection without citing an import permit.

Option 1 (EXDOC Endorsement 855)
1) Cucumber leaf spot carmovirus is  not known to occur in Australia,
2) Seed are sourced from area of known to be free from Bacterial blotch in melons (Acidovorax avenae subsp citrulli),
3) Crop was inspected during active growth and found to be free of Fusarium wilt of cucumber (Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. cucumerinum), Anthracnose (Glomerella lagenaria), Bacterial brown spot (Pseudomonas syringae) , Bacterial leaf spot of cucurbits (Xanthomonas cucurbitae) and Cucumber green mottle mosaic tobamovirus.

Option 2 (EXDOC Endorsement 856)
1) Cucumber leaf spot carmovirus is not known to occur in Australia,
2) A representative sample was found free through testing of Bacterial blotch in melons (Acidovorax avenae subsp citrulli), Fusarium wilt of cucumber (Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. cucumerinum), Anthracnose (Glomerella lagenaria), Bacterial brown spot (Pseudomonas syringae), Bacterial leaf spot of cucurbits (Xanthomonas cucurbitae) and Cucumber green mottle mosaic tobamovirus.
