General requirements
Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.
ICR applies to decorticated (shelled) nuts only.
All consignments must be free from India's Quarantine weed seeds as per schedule VIII of PQ order 2003. This statement is for information only and no additional supporting documentation is required other than the Export Compliance Record.
Visual inspection of a representative sample is required for endorsing freedom from Seed bruchid (Stator pruininus).
Groundnut scab (Sphaceloma arachidis), Peanut stripe virus, Peanut stunt virus and Testa nematode (Aphelenchoides arachidis) are not known to occur in Australia. No evidence is required to be cited for endorsement.
Area of production certificate, crop inspection report and/or laboratory analysis has to be cited when endorsing freedom from Tobacco streak virus and Bacterial wilt (Burkholderia solanacearum).
Note Burkholderia solanacearum is a synonym of Ralstonia solanacearum.
