Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.
A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
All consignments must be free from India's Quarantine weed seeds
Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

A laboratory analysis certificate for Black leg (Leptosphaeria maculans), Bacterial leaf blight of tomato (Pseudomonas viridiflava), Bacterial leaf blight (Pseudomonas syringae pv maculicola) and Black rot (Xanthomonas campestris pv campestris) is to be presented to the Department of Agriculture Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

1) Black leg (Leptosphaeria maculans), Bacterial leaf blight of tomato (Pseudomonas viridiflava), Bacterial leaf blight (Pseudomonas syringae pv maculicola) and Black rot (Xanthomonas campestris pv campestris) are known not to occur in the area of production,
2) The consignment is free from quarantine weed seeds as per schedule VIII of PQ order 2003,
3) The consignment is free from soil.

1) The parent plants were inspected during the growing season and found free from Black leg (Leptosphaeria maculans), Bacterial leaf blight of tomato (Pseudomonas viridiflava), Bacterial leaf blight (Pseudomonas syringae pv maculicola) and Black rot (Xanthomonas campestris pv campestris),
2) A representative sample was inspected and found free of quarantine weed seeds as per schedule VIII of PQ order 2003,
3) A representative sample was inspected and found free of soil.
