General requirements
Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material, including sand and compost.
A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
Plants must be sent bare-rooted or wrapped in a clean new non organic, inert media (synthetic moss, perlite, vermiculite, paper).
All excess foliage must be removed prior to shipping.

Treatment
Consignments are to be treated by dipping in an approved systemic insecticide, miticide and fungicide solution at recommended manufacturers requirements.
The exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the treatment and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
