Treatment

The exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the treatment and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

Details of treatment to be endorsed on the Phytosanitary certificate in the treatment section.

Treatment for Risk Group 2 regulated pests by Methyl bromide fumigation, at a loading of not greater than 50% chamber capacity, at 32 grm/m3 for 2 hours at 21 degrees Celsius or greater.

The Cook Islands allows dosage compensation when fumigation is applied to commodities with core temperature below 21 °C (min 10 °C).​
