General Requirements

Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.

​Original and certified translation of the import permit must be presented to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

​Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

Explanation of the Endorsements

Endorsement 5385:

No evidence is required to endorse freedom from Broad bean stain virus as this is not known to occur in Australia.

Phytosanitary sampling and visual inspection by the Authorised Officer address the additional declaration statements pertaining to Bruchid beetles (Bruchus spp.).

A laboratory test analysis certificate is required to endorse freedom from Stem nematode (Ditylenchus dipsaci).

Endorsement 7514:

No evidence is required to endorse freedom from Broad bean stain virus as this is not known to occur in Australia.

Phytosanitary sampling and visual inspection by the Authorised Officer address the additional declaration statements pertaining red imported fire ant (Solenopsis invicta).
