General Requirements

Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material; including roots, leaves, flowers and fruits.

​Original and certified translation of the import permit must be presented to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

​Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

The diagnostic test used to test the cuttings for Australian grapevine yellows, Tomato big bud phytoplasma and Buckland Valley grapevine yellows phytoplasma is to be included in the endorsement, as indicated by the text (name of test to be stated here)

Only manual certification will be issued for these exports.

Treatment

Consignments are to be treated, by immersion, under official inspection, against insects and mites with effective products at recommended manufacturers requirements.

The exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the treatment and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

Details of treatment to be endorsed on the Phytosanitary certificate in the treatment section.

1) The reproductive plant material has been produced under a nursery system, with the supervision or accreditation or recognition of the National Plant Protection Organisation of Australia,
2) The cuttings are derived from parent plants which were inspected during the last growing season and tested using diagnostic test (name of test to be stated here) and found free from Australian grapevine yellows, Tomato big bud phytoplasma and Buckland Valley grapevine yellows phytoplasma,
3) A representative sample was inspected and found free of Olive scale (Parlatoria oleae), Yellow peach moth (Conogethes punctiferalis), Light brown apple moth (Epiphyas postvittana), Oriental scale (Aonidella orientalis), Pink hibiscus mealybug (Maconellicoccus hirsutus), Oriental red mite (Eotetranychus orientalis), Kanzawai spider mite (Tetranychus kanzawai), Citrus flat mite (Brevipalpus lewisi), Xylopsocus gibbicollis, Mulberry scale (Pseudaulacaspis pentagona) and Yellow mealybug (Nipaecoccus viridis),
4) The production location was inspected during the latest active growing season and the samples obtained were tested by official laboratory analysis, finding them free of Grape phylloxera (Viteus vitifoliae).
