Export Criteria

Criteria Criteria Required?
Import Permit Yes

Protocol Market No

General Requirements

Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.

Original and certified translation of the import permit must be presented to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

Additional declarations are only to be endorsed on the phytosanitary certificate if specified on the import permit. When the import permit allows either testing on arrival or prior to export, the choice is with the exporter. If tested in Australia, it will be endorsed on phytosanitary certificate. If the exporter opts to export without testing for a pest, a plain phytosanitary certificate may be issued without endorsement.
