General Requirements

Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.

The import conditions are applicable to following shelled and in-shell, fresh or dried nuts:

  • Almonds (Prunus dulcis)
  • Cashew (Anacardium spp)
  • Hazelnut (Corylus spp)
  • Brazil nuts (Bertholletia excelsa)
  • Walnuts (Juglans spp)
  • Chestnuts (Castanea spp)
  • Pistachio nuts ( Pistacia vera)
  • Macadamia (Macadamia ternifolia).
