General Requirements

Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.

​Original and certified translation of the import permit must be presented to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

​Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

Phytosanitary visual inspection may be used for endorsing freedom from Trogoderma spp and Rice moth (Corcyra cephalonica).

Explanation of the endorsements

Endorsement 5561:

The exporter is to provide a written declaration or evidence of biosafety level 2 status and present to Authorised Officer at time of inspection.

Endorsement 5713 & 7392:

Iif required the laboratory analysis certificate number and date can be entered in the "Additional product description field" section of the EXDOC Request for Permit (RFP) as: OFFICIAL LABORATORY ANALYSIS NUMBER <NUMBER> / DATE <DATE>. There is to be no deviation from this text format. To enable the field on the RFP the exporter must submit a request to the EXDOC Plant program via (EXDOCPlantPrograms@agriculture.gov.au).

1)
Bent grass nematode (Anguina agrostis) is not known to occur in Australia,
2) The consignment is free of Trogoderma spp,
3) The crop was officially inspected during the growing period and found to be free of Mouse-ear hawkweed (Hieracium pilosella), Perennial thistle (Cirsium arvense), Green spurge (Euphorbia esulo) and Nematodes (Anguina funesta). 


Option 2 (EXDOC Endorsement 5713)
1)
Bent grass nematode (Anguina agrostis) is not known to occur in Australia,
2) The consignment is free of Trogoderma spp,
3) The consignment was found to be free by official laboratory testing of Mouse-ear hawkweed (Hieracium pilosella), Perennial thistle (Cirsium arvense), Green spurge (Euphorbia esulo) and Nematodes (Anguina funesta).


Option 3 (EXDOC Endorsement 5561)
1) The consignment is free of Trogoderma spp and Rice moth (Corcyra cephalonica),
2) The seeds were produced in a facility of biosafety level 2 and are free of Mouse-ear hawkweed (Hieracium pilosella), Perennial thistle (Cirsium arvense),Wild turnip (Brassica tournefortii), Green spurge (Euphorbia esulo) and Nematodes (Anguina funesta).

Option 4 (EXDOC Endorsement 7392)
1) The consignment is free of Warehouse beetle (Trogoderma variabile) and Rice moth (Coryca cephalonica),
2) The consignment was found to be free by official laboratory testing of Nematodes (Anguina funesta), Wild turnip (Brassica tournefortii), Perennial thistle (Cirsium arvense) and Mouse-ear hawkweed (Hieracium pilosella).
