General Requirements

Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.

​Original and certified translation of the import permit must be presented to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

Explanation of the endorsements:

Endorsement 3962:
  • Visual inspection by an Authorised Officer is sufficient for endorsing freedom from Warehouse beetle (Trogoderma variabile).
  • A crop inspection certificate is required for endorsing freedom from Perennial thistle (Cirsium arvense), Muskweed (Myagrum perfoliatum) and Doublegee (Emex australis), Sunflower broomrape (Orobanche cumana), Common broomrape (Orobanche minor) and Branched broomrape (Orobanche ramosa).
Endorsement 4917:
  • Visual inspection by an Authorised Officer is sufficient for endorsing freedom from Warehouse beetle (Trogoderma variabile).
  • A laboratory analysis certificate is required for endorsing freedom from Perennial thistle (Cirsium arvense), Muskweed (Myagrum perfoliatum) and Doublegee (Emex australis).
  • A crop inspection certificate is required for endorsing freedom from Sunflower broomrape (Orobanche cumana), Common broomrape (Orobanche minor) and Branched broomrape (Orobanche ramosa).

2) The consignment was found to be free by official laboratory testing of Perennial thistle (Cirsium arvense), Muskweed (Myagrum perfoliatum) and Doublegee (Emex australis),
3) The crop was officially inspected during the growing period and found to be free of Sunflower broomrape (Orobanche cumana), Common broomrape (Orobanche minor) and Branched broomrape (Orobanche ramosa).
